POWER & GRACE SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS is under the direction of Christy Posey Holden, ISTD. Christy has been teaching dance in the Shreveport/Bossier area for over twenty-five years and is the only instructor in Louisiana certified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance to teach the Cecchetti ballet method.
Power & Grace offers multiple dance studios, two locations, state of the art facilities, and the finest in dance training. Our curriculum includes ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, danceline, and preschool classes. With locations in Shreveport and Bossier and expansive multiple studios in each location, Power & Grace is able to offer flexibility in scheduling classes for your child and yourself.

MOSCOW BALLET presents
The Great Russian Nutcracker
Representatives from The Moscow Ballet will be in Shreveport / Bossier on September 2 – 4 to audition and rehearse local dancers for roles in The Great Russian Nutcracker. Moscow Ballet will be casting children ages seven to eighteen for its Shreveport performance during the annual Moscow Ballet Tour. The Great Russian Nutcracker will be performed at the Strand Theatre in Shreveport on November 22, 2011. Audition applicants must have at least one year of ballet experience.
Local participants will have the opportunity to perform onstage alongside professional dancers from The Moscow Ballet. Auditions and rehearsals are hosted locally by Power & Grace School of Performing Arts and will be conducted in their Shreveport studio. Open auditions will be held at 4:30pm on Friday, September 2nd at 425 Ashley Ridge Blvd., Shreveport, LA 71106. Applicants should wear ballet attire for the audition.
